Weight Control Therapy is not about dieting but rather about clean eating as a lifestyle. If your goal is to lose weight in a healthy way it is imperative that you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack every single day. By combining protein, fruit, "whole" complex carbohydrates, and vegetables, you will create a balance that will satisfy your needs and fill your belly quicker. The body is a machine that requires "real" foods to be eaten continuously to keep it operating at an optimal level.

Breakfast should always consist of fruit, "whole" complex carbohydrate and lean protein. 

EXAMPLE: ½ melon, two whole-wheat toasts with sliced tomatoes and fat free cheese melted over the top.

 

Lunch should include "whole" complex carbohydrates, vegetables, lean protein (size of palm) and fruit.

EXAMPLE: Whole grain roll, baked chicken breast, steamed vegetables, as many as you need, topped with lemon and a dash of butter or olive oil complimented with fresh raspberries.

 

Dinner should include a "whole" complex carbohydrate, vegetables (as many as you need), lean protein and fruit.

EXAMPLE: One cup of whole grain rice, 4oz sirloin steak and fresh asparagus with lemon and frozen strawberries.

SNACK should consist of ½ carbohydrate serving and ½ serving of lean protein.

over 160 pounds and all men should take 2 snacks daily.

EXAMPLE: One slice of whole grain toast topped with freshly ground sugar free peanut butter.
