The holiday season is once again upon us. This is a time of giving and receiving. I would like to give a gift to you. My gift to you is giving you tips, ideas and thoughts to help you release your weight permanently. May your holiday be filled with peace, joy and love! 1. Eat five small meals each day. 2. Balance each meal with a good source of: protein, vegetables and starchyKeep meals balanced to keep your blood sugar stable to avoid cravings. 4. Exercise six days out of seven with intensity. 5. When you exercise be sure you can converse with someone but you don’tSplit your exercise routine with cardio workouts and weight lifting. 7. Give yourself a "free" day once a week, free of exercise and eating rules.8. Eat "whole foods," which are Gods "natural" foods not processed foods.9. Make as many of your starchy carbohydrates a high fiber carbohydrate.10. Weight loss and muscle toning is a process and a journey: it takes time.11. Your body will heal from the inside first, then the outside.12. Change your thinking and you’ll change your mind.13. Listen to self-hypnosis weight loss tapes as frequently as you can. 14. Set goals that are realistic and ideal for you.15. Give yourself the foods you have been craving on you "free" day. 16. It takes only three weeks to create new habits. 17. Get an ample amount of rest, as close to eight hours of sleep as you can.18. Avoid using the scale as a form of measurement, use a fat caliper or howyour clothing is fitting you. 19. Don’t let anyone or anything stand in your way of success.20. Drink tons and tons of water.21. Avoid sugar and white flour except on your "free" day.22. Spend quality time with supportive and kind people.23. Avoid stress and stressful situations. 24. Spend time with loved ones instead of eating! 25. Stay focused and avoid temptation.
