Thoughts….
Are you feeling fresh? Are you where you want to be with your body, your mind? Spring is here with all that it brings. Perhaps you are ready for a cleansing. An awakening for your body: to shed the old and bring forth the new. Perhaps it is time for you to enter into a natural state of being. You too have a built in system that leaves your body fresh, alive and bountiful with life. Perhaps it is time for your own personal rain showers; a time to cleanse and rebirth. It is spring time! Summer is soon to follow. A time for fresh fruits, vegetables, warmth, freer times and bathing suits! Oh, did I say bathing suits? Do you cringe at the thought of putting on a small item of clothing? Spring is here but it does not mean that you have to live indoors and avoid picnics, swimming and out doors activities. I always remember as a teen, in that awkward stage to begin with, my entire family all swimming and water skiing and I was held hostage indoors for fear of exposing my over 200 pound frame! When I did venture out I was wearing a giganda t-shirt practically down to my ankles so nobody could see me. It saddens me that I lost all of my teen years, all of my twenties and a piece of my thirties to a life in prison behind weight. Don’t make the same mistake! Grab your life now by getting outdoors. Take small walks daily. Dust off your bike. Pull out your water skis. The more active you become the more toned you will be. Spring is a great time to buy foods that are in season. Turn towards a menu of nature. Pull out your grill and put on the chicken and vegetables and even grilled fruit! This is your time to gather your self together. Watch the kids in their natural state…more free…more playful. You should be too! The closer you stick to natural foods and move your body the sooner you will free yourself of the unwanted pounds that you are carrying around. Life is good! Enjoy the gifts of the earth. Enjoy the foods that are fresh and natural. The long walks with your kids, spouse, dog or anybody you can dig up. Get outside. Stop feeling sad and lonely. Do something for yourself today!
