I am happy to announce that my book, Release Your Obsession with Diet Chatter: Heal from the Inside Out is now available at Amazon and book stores near you.
How It Came To Be
Often, I’m asked how this book ever came into being, and I think the best answer is that after I wrote my first book, Release your Obsession with Food: Heal from the Inside Out, I realized my work wasn’t done but rather only beginning. To unravel and correct eating disorders takes tapping into the many realms of the travel from eating disorders to eating recovery, from negative chatter to positive chatter, to eating healthful foods no matter where you are or who you are with, whether on the weekend out to eat or in another state or country.
The end result I’ve tried to produce in Release Your Obsession with Diet Chatter: Heal from the Inside Out is a blend of a spiritual slant on diet obsessions, together with practical, down-to-earth advice. I want to help readers learn how to live more fully day to day in order to break from negative, compulsive, diet thoughts (or any form of negative thoughts for that matter).
Who Is This Book For
Most important I wrote this book for us, who are alone with the drunken monkey diet thoughts every single day and trying to control it and not let it control us. I wrote because living with an addiction to specific foods that result in compulsive overeating is an unsolicited and difficult path to venture alone. I know when I was struggling with obsessing and bingeing on food I had no idea where to turn. I was lost and scared and didn’t understand why I couldn’t stop eating to the point my weight was nearly 100 pounds over the suggested healthy weight. I thought something was wrong with me.
Time To Transform Your Life
Release Your Obsession with Diet Chatter: Heal from the Inside Out reveals how we can mold and transform every day of our lives into authentic vibrant and passionate spiritual expressions of a higher consciousness while obtaining relief and resolution of never-ending negative, compulsive diet thoughts (or any form of negative thoughts for that matter).
Release Your Obsession with Diet Chatter: Heal from the Inside Out is the “outpatient” or “home-based” version of the program I offer in my practice.
Some of the Questions This Book Answers
A Book For Mom’s, Dad’s Young Adults
I wrote this book for the young adult who is obese and can’t play with her/his children because the food obsession will not let up and they feel there is no way out.
I wrote to tell the moms and dads how sad I was in my young years and how alone I felt and my parents didn’t know. I want to tell moms and dads I was scared and wished I could tell someone but feared rejection or lack of understanding. I don’t want one more child alone with this disease. And if we can save a child perhaps they won’t grow into a lonely, isolating adult and pass this down to their children. Together we can break the chain.
A Book For Doctors & Patients
This book is for doctors and therapists to let them know this obsession is real and to treat it with the right foods, exercise, and spiritual connection. That cutting patients stomachs to reroute their food and/or cutting and filling their stomachs with fill is a wasted effort if they aren’t educated about trigger foods nor connected to a spiritual source of their understanding.
I wrote this book to save my patients from a disease that kills. I wrote this book because God wanted me to write—He will guide me throughout the process no matter how long it takes, no matter how high my mountain will be.
A Personal Experience
Eating disorders no doubt are one of the most difficult of all disorders to treat. I know this first hand but today I live in recovery from binge eating disorder and food addiction. No matter what end of the spectrum one is on, too thin or wearing more weight than the body frame can handle, it’s a big ordeal to overcome. But….it can be overcome. It takes work and perseverance and a village of people to help through the process.
Release Your Obsession with Diet Chatter: Heal from the Inside Out will quiet the demons in your mind and free you once and for all from and diet chatter lingering in the background of your mind.
